The special brass candle holder is made of solid brass. It has not been given any chemical coating which means that it will patinate over a period of time due to the oxidation process.

Oxidation is a chemical process that will slowly begin as soon as the product comes in contact with oxygen. After the product is manufactured and carefully has been packed in our packaging, it will naturally be exposed to oxygen. Therefore, the product may have traces of oxidation already as brand new.

Yes, you can mix the new version with the antique version as it is made from the same product drawing. However due to different tolerances in the 60’s production and today’s production stacking can be either a little loose or tight when stacking new together with antique candle holders.

The BMF candle holder and BMF vase stack perfectly into the STOFF Nagel pieces and can be combined as you wish.

Step 1:

Disassemble the bracket from the candle sconce using the Allen Key (included). Use the ”Mounting template” to mark the holes where drilling is required.Use a spirit level to ensure the wall bracket is level when mounted. Drill using an appropriate drill bit for the mounting.

Step 2:

If necessary install wall plugs (not included) suitable for the material of the wall. Always choose screws and fittings which are suitable for the material of the wall and have sufficient holding power.

NOTE! We recommend that assembly should be carried out by a qualified person as incorrect assembly could lead to the object falling from the wall, resulting in possible injury or damage.

Step 3:

Attach the bracket using suitable screws (not included) for the wall. Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Using the right fixing devices ensures the stability and load bearing capacity of the STOFF Nagel wall hanger.

Step 4:

Tighten the grub screw with the Allen Key (included) to attach the candle sconce to the bracket.Check that the STOFF Nagel wall hanger is securely fastened. Build your candle holder sculpture with a maximum of 35 candle holders. Do not place candle directly in the wall hanger as this can potentially damage the wall.
